Planning on buying a FRS, Need help.

hey guys, i plan on buying a frs for the 1st time. i have been a long time lurker and now that i have the money, i want to buy one.

however, i need your help.

should i wait and buy the 2016 model or not? (anyone know when it is coming out?)

if not, i plan on buying the 2015 model when the 2016 model comes out, that way, the 2015 models will sell for cheaper. i also plan on getting quotes from each dealership in the SoCal area, however, i cant find a good site to do this. i want to be able to send them a message and select all of the dealerships within, lets say, 10-50 mile radius. ive been on couple of sites, but they wont let me do this.

thanks for your help guys.

Info on the 16s should come out soon.
Taking a 15 will certainly save you money.
You will probably just have to search each dealerships site independently as I know of no place they are all linked together. If you go to the Scion USA page you can type in your zip code and it will give you the dealerships in your area.
It certainly would help people to help you though if you actually put a location on your profile. People can then recommend where is good or bad.

Nobody here has any reason to believe that the 2016 will be any different, but then if you are waiting until 2016 for a discount on the 2015s anyway, you'll know for sure if there are any changes in 2016 that justify paying more.

As for comparing dealerships in SoCal, I'll let one of the locals answer that.

buy a low mileage 2013. The best year

If you need new? I have had a great experience with South Coast Toyota.

Good luck! Everybody would like invoice pricing and the dealers would like to feed their children.

i agree bro, but when the 2016 comes out, they want to get rid of the 2015's.

so i will have the upper hand. also, this economy is getting worse. not alot of people are buying new cars these days.

scion.com and use their dealer locator tab.

Just FYI, Pure Price isn't a guideline in terms of price negotiation. What you see is what you get. Aftermarket accessory add-ons are a whole another story.

I'm a sales consultant in Alaska, but we can see inventory all over the US. (I never tried Canada, so it's possible to look into Canadian dealership inventories too.) I can at least help you get information on the FR-S you're interested in and advice. Just give me the VIN.

Got my 14 as they were unloading the 15s off the truck. Wouldn't touch price. But... I got a shit load of extras for free and at cost.
The dealers are not that interested in giving them away even one model year out, hell there are 13s and 14s still on the lots for list.
