I dunno how they got my info, but I got a call from the local Scion dealer this afternoon. They have a Ultramarine FR-S in stock and he asked me to come in.

Now I've got a BRZ preordered at another local dealer, and they told me that my car isn't coming in for another month, probably. But I do prefer the BRZ and its coming in the color I want (swp). I'll see what happens.

At any rate, I guess this gives me a chance to test drive a manual FR-S. The auto was okay (definitely the best normal auto I've driven).

I DO like the blue though, just not a #1 color choice.

Just keep your head straight. Only buy it if it's what you REALLY want.

Picture yourself in the FR-S at a light and seeing a SWP BRZ pull up next to you.

Will you regret your purchase?

If yes, go for the drive and wait for the BRZ.

If no, then jump on the FR-S and enjoy your drive home. :D

If I were you I'd buy the FRS and be done with it assuming I really liked the color in person. I'm in a similar spot waiting for a BRZ which is probably still months away.

BRZ has HIDS and Navi, if you are only 1 month out...I would wait. Plus its in the color you want. SWP rocks on the BRZ!
