Is a K&N air filter worth it?

Any improvement in HP or noise level?
Worth my $45?

buy used. and don't supersize it for a day or two. or just buy new and return it if you don't like it.

It's he first mod you should get for this car.

Will it noticeably improve performance? Probably not. But it is a better filter than the stock paper element, and you can reuse it indefinitely if you get the recharger kit. When my stock air filter is due for replacement, I'll be putting a K&N in. No point in spending that money until it's due for replacement, in my opinion.

When you open the airbox and see the piece of shit they put in there, you will be glad you bought a k & n filter.

haha.

Bruh, is this a real question more like it. There's plenty of threads explaining drop-in filters and their diagnostics. You roughly get 5hp out of a K&N filter, it lasts a lifetime, it's easy to clean, etc. I'll edit this post with the link once I find it.

Simply put yes. Improved throttle response and 1 or 2 hp for 45 bucks that you simply drop-in.
