Is there a sales tracker for aftermarket items?
I usually use several websites for deal tracking (slickdeals, /r/buildapcsales, etc)
and was wondering if there was on for car parts... I want to get a few mods done but I haven't had luck finding a good deal on the things I want. |
nope, not until all sellers of a particular product uses the same SKU listed on sites to be "tracked".
One thing that the auto industry is slow to adopt is uniform mechanisms of reporting SKUs, sales, and inventory. The tech industry is much more advanced in this area. -alex |
Thanks for the informative answer.
Is there a general time trend when auto parts go on sale? |
I usually use ebay as a benchmark and cross reference with groupbuy and vendor section here. Or you can simply contact your local speed shops to get a quote, sometimes local stores offer better deal with cash.
