Buzzing/popping sound when HID fog light button is pressed. HELP!
 

Hello everyone

Installed my HID 3K Fog Lights this weekend. Plug and play no problem!

Long story short one light has been going out (sometimes on sometimes off). I made sure all the plugs were in tight and connected. I unplugged the H11 Male connector clip (the pins that plug into the power cable from the bulb) and plugged it back in.

Now I notice whenever I turn the fog light on/off switch on it makes a buzz/pop sound. Is this bad? What could it be? and why isn't this bulb staying on?

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Does the vendor you purchased them from have any technical advice on their website? What is making the noise, the switch or the headlight?

I'd recheck all the plugs/pins/connectors and your ground connections.

I actually did some trouble shooting just now! I switched out the bulb that was working to the nonworking side and it came on.

It seems to be a faulty bulb.

I'll be sure to contact the vendor shortly
