Fumoto Oil Change Valve Sale

1 Attachment(s)
I have no affiliation with Fumoto, but I like my oil change valve and I received the attached e-mail from them regarding a Valentines Day sale and I thought I'd share it with the forum. They're only offering 5% off, but for those thinking about getting one, it's not a bad time to buy. The code is 'Cupid15' and the URL is:

Can't recommend this valve enough. Have one on my FR-S and also my fiance's car. Great investment if you do your own oil changes and without the mess.

Just installed this on my car today! Although 5% is hardly a sale, I wonder if it was supposed to be 15 since the code is Cupid15.

I don't think my "Wife will love it"

I have the valves on my BRZ and F150 w/o any problems. It just takes longer for the oil to drain out since the outlet is smaller than the hole in pan.

I just go inside for an hour and let it drain fully.

anybody use these valves in areas where it snows and roads are covered with salt?

dem00n 02-09-2015 11:40 AM

I've been against these valves for three years now, I'll pony up and try one.

Sigh...

My bike has one in Minnesota for the last year. No issues to report.

How is the clearance with that 1/2 inch nipple?

gramicci101 03-17-2015 06:46 PM

It BARELY sticks out from the cover. Not even enough to fully protrude, just a tiny corner of it. I have the one with the nipple and I've had no problems.
