Cold start question

When it's cold and I clutch in and turn the key, and let the clutch out while in neutral the car wants to move forward even with the parking brake on. My question is this normal or should I be driving it to the dealer?

It's just the oil in the transmission normal for it being cold.

Wants to move forward in neutral.. with the parking brake on..

..not normal.

Not sure how that could possibly be considered normal. The car shouldn't budge with the parking brake on.

It lurches just a little yes, maybe I didn't have it all the way up though?

My Evo did the same thing on cold starts.

Moved while in neutral with the parking brake on??

I mean if the parking brake isn't on and it's cold - it's normal to maybe creep forward a tiny bit.. but nothing that should overpower the parking brake by any means.

Ok I'll make sure parking brake is fully engaged

I wouldn't say move and I'm sure the op doesn't mean move. It would lurch, you could tell it wanted to move if the ebrake wasn't engaged.
