My body shop said about 3wks once they start working on it, depending on the parts arrival). So yeah, about the same time frame. =(

At least I can replace stock tails w/ Valentis or something... shop said I can pick whatever bumper I wanted too, but I don't see very many choices out there that won't take 2 months to arrive.

Guess I'll stick w/ stock.

That's the worst spot you can hit on a car. The quater panel will never be the same again

They'll just replace it, not too hard to do. I'm more worried about the damage underneath.

Turtle Wax ICE should do the trick!

From the BRZ owners manual, do not penetrate BRZ from behind this will enrage the BRZ

Somewhere in that chapter lies a picture of a convertible BRZ too! Half Life 3 confirmed.

Update:

Insurance still trying to get a statement from the other driver... Apparently she hasn't answered or called her insurance yet. Insurance has been trying to call her, sent letters, etc. No response yet. Looks like they'll determine fault once police report come in, but that could take a while.

Looks like I'm going to go down to the station to get my police report in person if I can.

It's odd that the other person hasn't filed a claim yet, how weird. I should have given her the phone and have her file a claim right then and there while at the scene... lol.

It kind of sounds like she's trying to deadbeat her way out of it. I had a similar issue when a woman backed into me at a light. She tried to guilt trip me into just letting it go, tried not answering her phone. After a while I had enough and left her a bitter voicemail saying that she has to call her insurance and that I was done f-ing around.

Got a call from the insurance company the next day.

It's fine though. Insurance can determine fault once they get the police report and from all the pics I took. Besides, if insurance doesn't want to give me my claimed diminished value, I'll just file suit. IF I have to file suit, she will be a co-defendant. Good luck to her getting out of that.

Also, her CRZ was pretty messed up, surprised she hasn't filed insurance to fix it. Looks like easily 5k+ of damage. bumper, headlight, radiator, fender.... o.O Oh well.

Like you actually care about the CRZ....

Well, she's going to have to call her insurance to file a claim... That's why I'm wondering, since her insurance hasn't been able to contact her.
