You may have seen it at the latest SEMA show, well here is Speed Hunter's full report and WOW!

Oh dear god, I need that car in my life...
best brz ever. period.
I really don't know what to say, it's just so beautiful
I want to hear this beauty SING in a real driving environment!!!
I'm glad someone finally swapped that engine into this chassis. If money was no object, this motor is the perfect motor for this car.

Here I was hoping to read more development on the fa20 by JUN. Seems like just about everybody scraps the lump. Is it really that much of a POS?
Lovely car for sure. But no fa20, no care. And $70,000 for that setup, better to just go out and buy a C7 Vette. |

JUN is absolutly working on the FA20, they even revealed high lift cams, a carbon intake/box and a valved exhaust at the recent 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon! JUN AFAIK really only does engine tuning and their own parts. I can't recall them ever making any forced induction kits which still seems the only way to hit 300+ in the twins. |

I noticed they came out with FA20 cams. Hence why I was a little disappointed when I read the article to find out that they junked the fa20 in favor of this micro v8. Was hoping to read about a race cammed ITB fa20 revving to 13000 :( So again, stagnent development for our turd fa20. It's not that I don't like this car. I am in love with the idea! But it's unattainable to about 98% of us here. And the the 2% that do have the means, the new NSX for $150k is much more appealing than a $150k modified JUN brz. I do hope to see the JUN fa20 cams wake this motor up though. |
looks like a sport-bike tach... awesome!
Wow... Just wow...
For the BRZ owner who has it all... Love it but could never see anyone justifying it. This is strictly a "we did it because we can" effort. What I would give to drive it, though!
That's one way to get rid of the crickets!
Pretty cool. Wasn't there an American company that was building engines very much like this until recently? I think they used Hayabusa heads?
Still waiting for a good flat six build for these cars, though. Nothing beats the sound of an engine with cylinders in multiples of three. |
