2015 86 Challenge hosted by NASA Florida!
 

Hi guys! We're introducing the 86 Challenge hosted by NASA. This is a series similar to the Cusco-Winmax 86CUP, only based in Florida and the Southeast region. This series should provide an outlet to those looking to get some track time with other 86 owners, further develop your driving or compete in time trials. We'll be using the 86CUP Ruleset with @CSG Mike 's blessing and hopefully we get enough of a following to eventually make this a national series.

How much would the cost for events be?

Depends on the track. $289 for Roebling, $450 for Sebring, and $549 for Daytona. All prices are 2-day prices. $49 member fee for the year. Some deals are also being sought out for attempting to lower prices, and should be announced soon.

Hey Raul and/or Emanuel, can you share some info regarding how this series will coincide with the NASA TT running the same weekend?


I used the 86 cup points calculator to see that I could be in the limited class on RC-1's but I don't know where the car would be in the NASA classes.


Is there a certification process for drivers without NASA experience? In my case 40+ hpde track days and TT experience with Redline and NARRA.
