Interested in this.... I know zero about importing. How do we get and/or is someone going to try and work out a group purchase?

Prava 06-08-2012 08:11 AM

Not worth the $$$ in my opinion. It's the first thing to take damage and get knocked off. Lips should be cheap and plentiful.

$500 USD + Duties + Import

Third Party might be cheaper (Buying from Vendor)

V limited lip will take far more hits and damages than any other lip on the planet. Worth the investment in my opinion

Slartibartfast 06-08-2012 10:29 PM

Sweet... But I doubt it would work on an FR-S chin. How different are they? hmmmm...

rcm47 06-08-2012 11:06 PM

I wonder if the points in the brz and frs are at the same spot. Might work.

Actually an additional protective lip is recommended to be installed below this lip. It's intended to take the brunt of wear and tear. Same is true for STI lips on other Subaru models. Those other lips also require lots of holes to be drilled into the bumper for mounting. I wonder if that's the case for this BRZ lip.

hopefully they actually bring this over here as an accessory. Importing from Japan is always a ripoff.
