Next time try googling like I just did. "Brz manual sport mode ft86club" I find many times google finds things in our forums a lot more accurately then the actual search feature.

Cheers.

i appreciate your help however what im really looking to find out is what components change/adapt and what mechanically/physically changes in the vehicle when you turn sport mode on, not just that it "affords maneuverabilty closer to what a driver imagined, while a sense of security is retained." -wtf does that even mean? i want to know what happens to the suspension what happens to air/fuel ratios etc..
i understand that it makes the car have a sportier feel but i would just like to know what the computer does to change the feel other than turning trac off.
when i did google it i found many sites and forums that just talk about how to push the button properly lol

Nothing to the suspension, or air/fuel ratio. It just gives you a little more freedom from traction control. Less braking and power cutting, when the car starts to slide, ie it will let you slide a little more, before kicking in.

thank you for the simplification.... im kinda disapointed tbh tho haha i expected more. oh well.

It might change throttle mapping a little bit, not sure on that but that's what it does on an WRX STi in Sport # mode.

The VSC sport mode changes things like allowing the rear tires to slide out just a little bit before automatically cutting in and applying brakes.

Trac off mode allows the rear tires to spin faster than the front tires and won't step in to stop you from sliding. I still think there is some partial VSC there even with it set to completely off, as I think I've seen it brake the front tire for me when I was switching lanes one time to avoid an accident, the front tire squeeled indicating the system was still working.

Is your blue an automatic? The "sport" button there changes the shift point for the auto, keeping the revs higher. The VSC Sport button on the far right is what I referred to earlier, on moving the traction control limit.

Yeah definitely too high of expectations lol. Sport mode in automatic keeps the revs higher and sport/vcs is like halfway between full traction off and full on...that's it...

Series blue only comes in manual, but IMO it's a pointless button until I change it to run a different map down the road.

Gives you +25HP, read your owner's manual.

Maybe this video gives you a better idea of how loose it'll make the car for you.
