What is the difference in catch can? Turbo set up questions?
 

Hey guys, :) I've read a little about catch cans... but I got bored on the way people explained it.


Questions:
1. What is the different types of catch can, why is there kits with dual catch cans and some not?

2. PCV ( Positive crankcase ventilation) and CV (Crankcase ventilation) catch can, whats the difference?

3. What is the major benefit of catch can?

4. Which catch can do you have in your car?

5. Installing a turbo in the car, how is it benefitting the catchcan?

From my understanding, the waste gas pushes the first turbine in the turbo and pulls air from outside.

6. The catch can catches the air of the waste gas or the air before the intake?

7. Waste gas, where does it go when you have a catchcan installed and a turbo installed.

8. The turbo is set up to have 7psi, more than that the wastegate opens and release the extra boost, where does this extra boost goes if you don't have a recirculated connection?

9. Why is the exhaust gas connected back to the engine...? Shouldn't it go out the muffler?
