So I got a call from the business that will be hosting the event today. Looks like it will be a go! The date will be set for June/July.
I will be talking to them on Mon. April 06, 2015 and posting a new thread about the meet/details on the same day.
Im planning for this meet to be big and will need at least a 40 car commitment for this to happen given the amount of events at the venue that will be available for 86 owners.
There was talk of a live band, unveiling of the business built 86 , car show consisting of us, food, and raffle. Most likely magazine coverage and of course a Meet and Greet! Basically an overall good time for all members of the 86 community.
@ Chen The area will be in Olympia. I will post an exact date when I have the information.
Im hoping the Portland 86s will represent and organize to meet up with the Washington 86s and convoy together to the final destination!
On the average we get about 15-25 cars that show up a the monthly events that I set-up. combine that with the Portland 86s and we should get a commitment of at least 20 from there. We also have those that show up once in a while that are unable to make it due to work which is about 10-20 people that show up when they can. That's an average of about 50-60 cars that could make this event.
Stay tuned and look out for the new thread, this could only happen if i get commitments from everyone! Meaning if you have to take off from work a couple hours/and or willing to drive a little.
This will definitely be a MEGA MEET. |
