Rear Deck rattle sound question

1 Attachment(s)
HI All,

I heard some rattle sound during the drive especially on the bad road.

It sounds like comes from the rear deck which might close the c-pillar of the
driver side.

I try to knock everywhere in the rear and trunk in order to reproduce the same
sound.

Please refer to the blue arrow as below.

I notice that black piece which alone the backside of the rear seat is not
fix( tight), especially in the two end which close to the corner of the trunk.

Is that normal or how to tight it?

I can simply use the finger to generate the rattle some when I warble the
blue arrow position.

Thanks.

I've had the rear deck rattle for many months, and have tried various methods (as recommended on this forum) to get rid of it without success. It was driving me nuts!

Then one day I tried stuffing some car wash foam thingy and started stuffing it between the back seat and the rear deck.....and immediately the rattle was gone. I also popped open the rivet clips you see next to the longer sponge, and stuffed a few more similar sized foam behind/under the rear deck cover.

This was a couple of months ago and the sound has never returned since! Was amazed how a simple fix did the trick! Hope this works for you as well....
