Helix Tail Lights (Red Lexon clones?)

Are they just clones Lexon? Pics of the lights on? I don't see a buy button on that website I linked.

$450?! :eyebulge:

Their pricing seems to be all over the place.

We are waiting word from them about these.. It was displayed at SEMA at that time they gave us a 450$ price. They said this was their light so im guessing they maybe importing them from the same manufacture and be the same lights. Any more information i receive i will post up here. We have had a lot of interest just awaiting word from them.

$450 is normal priced actually IMHO, although I'm not sure I'd get em at $450. Tom's and buddy clubs are still hovering just below $500, same with the Lexons.

Valentis and Spyders were $400+ when first released if I remember correctly. My only gripe is that the Helix name is sorta know for clones and such (clear side markers and so on) and are usually priced to reflect that.

I have Lexon set and as far as I know Lexon came in 3 designs; USDM smoke, JDM smoke, and USDM clear so it might be a clone

How do you like your Lexon's btw? I wanted to get the smoked version but heard the Lexon's are not DOT legal. I see you're in CA like me, any issues from the cops? Are the brake lights, turn signals, side reflector lights bright enough during the day?

There is no DOT stamp anywhere but most aftermarket tail lights don't have them. I haven't had any police issues so far. Everything is visible during the day. If you're in the OC you can stop by to see yourself

This is not a Clone - If anything the Lexon ones are the Clones - since no one can truley find anything out about that brand or company -

The truth is these are Manufactured by Depo - the same Company that makes the Toms and Buddy Club products - IMO Lexon tried to brand these but failed & had poor market penetration and or a poor plan to get these to guys like us so we can offer them to the community

SO.... I really would not call these Clones - These are authentic Tails and Technically the Exact same thing, We just get these on our Helix shipments from overseas -

The Quality is top Quality and on par with TOMS -I took my red JDM TOMS off my car and installed the Smoke Version

Do you have the red ones? Do these need to be repinned or anything or just plug and play? I saw some videos where the turn signals and parking lights were swapped and needed to be repinned (for the Lexons)

The red ones are on their site. I'd guess that if they are primarily designed for the JDM market that the wires will need to be snapped.
