Sorry didn't go through the entire thread but how much whp does this car produce? What is the complete setup?

It's only been on one dyno run and we suspect the wheels might have been slipping towards the top end but it got 335 bhp there. Setup is 10:1 compression ratio and 1.2 bar of boost with the AVO stage 4 turbo

That colour looks great Chris!!

Did you end up with any spare diff shims you might like to sell on?

We managed to re use the stock diff shims in the end. The only reason we thought they weren't going to fit is because we hadn't quite got the bearings all the way on. Once we'd got them seated properly the stock shims measured up fine.

On a completely unrelated note, was it you that made your own wide arch kit or am I thinking of someone else?

Yep, that was me..

I only have only made moulds for the fenders and bumper spats, eight pieces. I am also able to make a one piece front wing complete so you don't have to cut the wing at all.

There is a big difference with mine and other copies in the UK.. mine actually fit.

Yeah I saw someone else mention that they got a set from you and it fit perfectly. If I was going for it I'd only want the front and rear fenders. Not sure if I'm going to do it yet, depends if I get a steering angle kit for drifting or not. I'll drop you a PM if I do though and hopefully I can get the fenders from you if you're still making them.

Forgot to update this thread for a while...

Decided to make this car more focused on drifting, so I bought those fenders from Nigelr32 (and they fit great, thanks Nigel!) and installed the PBM steering angle kit. Only did wide arches on the front, and tbh I think it looks fine but a few people have said they think the rears need doing as well.

Also got some new wheels but haven't finished getting them to fit properly yet (need to get some thinner profile tyres and maybe hack a little of the front bumper away) but here's what it looks like at the moment:

Just a quick update to say I got the new wheels to fit fine eventually and have done a few more drift days since then. Also got Fensport to map a new rev limiter so that it doesn't drop 200 rpm when it hits the limiter like it used to (and it sounds mad now, which is a bonus).

Everything is still going well with the car, despite being abused on drift days a lot over the last few weeks (pics below). I've got a few bits to fit over winter - whiteline adjustable anti roll bars, the RacerX oil sump, oil cooler fan, new boost gauge, Perrin steering rack solid mounts, and a few other little bits. So I'll update this thread once they're all in. For now, here's some pics from the last few drift events:

Thanks, I figured it was much easier for people to watch that than read through 10 pages of this thread lol

we need more glamour shots! How are you liking the grey color so far?

How was switching from the stage 3 billet turbo to the larger turbo? Was there a sound difference between the two?

Just a quick update to say the car is still running fine despite me abusing it on several drift days recently (video of the latest one is here if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/ChrisDriftVideo)

Also, I installed some solid transmission mounts today and my god it increases NVH a lot. I was expecting a bit of extra sound and vibration when driving, but even on startup and on idle its a lot harsher. Lots of rattling when off throttle as well, but that might just be because of the lightweight flywheel I'm running (I noticed it a little when I first got that installed, but the solid mounts make it wayyyy more noticeable now). On the plus side though, the gear shift feel is noticeably improved and you get that nice "race car" whining sound when accelerating. Definitely don't do this to a daily driver or car that you drive on the road a lot though... I'm not even sure I can put up with the extra NVH just for driving it a few hours a month down to drift events, but we will see.
