shame. i was about to pull the trigger on those red Valentis from ModBargains. I thought ModBargains was a reputable site to buy from.

We noticed other retailers selling three new colors of these tail lights that they were calling "valenti" and have been advertising them that way for the last 6-7 months. Some of our customers started asking us if we could get those colors, so we went looking in the wholesale market for them. We found the supplier that had them in stock. After seeing them in person and verifying that they were real & had the valenti logo on the lens, we bought them, then advertised them as Valenti just like the other vendor. The tail lights do say valenti right on the lens, just like the other four colors, and the other retailer had it listed as valenti for 7 months so we thought it was all good...

Our impression throughout this process was that these lights were the Authentic Valenti because of the labeling on the lens of the tail light. If the lenses of the lights were not stamped with Valenti on there, we would not have mentioned on the forums and our website as these to be Valenti lights. We value your name and product and we would have not have jeopardized our business in selling an item that was not true and authentic.

We would never sell anything that's not the real deal. We are a highly ethical company, and we even host local meets here at our shop such as the official West Coast Meet Location for 86Day on August 6th, 2014. Basically, we don't do shady business activities. We're just trying to offer all of the options out there to our customers with in stock inventory and at great prices; trying to help out the community of FR-S/BRZ guys out there. If anything, we would love to talk more with your company about how we can sell more of your products and represent your name the way it deserves to be represented!

Sounds like some confusing branding/distribution challenges that we are caught up in here. Rest assured that you as a customer are getting real, high quality, warrantied lights from us. We thought we were helping the community here by offering more color options, that's all. We've been in business 10 years and aren't going anywhere - you know where to find us, how to reach us, and we'll always make things right for our customers when something doesn't go as we planned.

Here are some pictures of the smoked ones. These were the original versions of the lamps from July of 2013. I did have LEDs that failed on both of the lamps and Mod Bargains replaced both under warranty with no problems. On the black paint they look awesome and I have encountered no problems with the police.
