Why? No more ashamed than LS swap.

seriously I hate forum noobs thinking they can just fire off any stray thought or question that comes into their head. Do they not realize that forums get cluttered, making it harder for those who want to search for these things in the future? And with the limited active staff on this one, clutter builds up fast.

Some never grasp that element of forums, though. They wonder why people get on their asses for searching. FFS. /mad

@Koa that's why I love the no-handholding policy on the JZ-swap forum I usually post on, except I guess it really doesn't go off well here. I was looking back through my posts today, and I guess I actually got someone to delete a couple of their posts by being a ****, which is a shame.

I agree, but all this is also the fault of the members, who do not allow different views and thus information. When one of the mebmers made a detailed informational thread about this topic (Toyota V8 swap), it went off-tipic and flaming, he got criticized because he "could get turbo for less" instead of doing a V8 swap.

That has nothing to do with noobies asking dumb/unfocused questions, but yes, the culture of the forum community comes into play when discussing precipitation of new ideas

Well to be fair, the gentleman does live in the United Arabs Emirates which means he probably has a lot of disposable income
