Finished Purpose Built Race Cars Here?
 

I'm curious if there are any threads documenting, real full race builds on here... It's been a while since I've been on, looking at possibly switching from Spec Miata to a larger car, and think this chassis has potential, but curious to see how the builds have gone, and how the cars are doing after seeing some real track time... I searched, sadly the word "track" or "race" isn't much help in this section.

With all this talk of race cars, I have to ask, has anyone done SCCA club racing with a 86?

I saw one run the 25 hours of thunder hill in almost stock trim.. I think it was done by the owner of StopTech.

By the way, the answer to your question in your signature is "poverty". That's what comes after club racing.

We are starting the Spec 86 Cup this season. Rules are just complete and will likely run with NASA and SCCA.
