OHHHHH good idea
Then just some flat black spray paint on the hood, some stickers for parts I don't have and poke some holes in my muffler and I can pretend I am driving a Neon.

Sounds OK. Price depends a lot on where you are though.
You may already know all this stuff but just in case:
If you look at it in person check the engine cover bolts and see if they are all marked up or there are misplaced washer indents in the cover's tabs. This will let you know if it has been on and off a pile.
Same thing with the exhaust fasteners just look and see if they are beat up. These things can tell you if there were any mods on the car which may have caused some premature wear.
Also ask if the service records show any of the TSBs being done and confirm if the maintenance was done on schedule.

I used to be a body tech so I know how to find any body damage but I'm no expert in the mechanical department. At the risk of sounding like a moron, What exactly are TSBs?

I didn't know till I started browsing here either: Technical Service Bulletins, they are established solutions to established problems that are model or part unique: leaky taillights (replace, make sure they are torqued to these values otherwise they will crack) idle dip/melting injector seals (reflash to new tune), chirping fuel pump (replace to new fuel pump which won't fix it either) etc.

This!
There is a list of them on this forum but as strange as this may sound I would stay away from it!
Far to often people read the bulletins and then start to think that their car has all those issues (ask me how I know). If you notice something that may be a problem then look it up. To do it before hand will just start messing with your own head.

They're all the same, lol I don't see any difference between the 2013-2015. They all drive the same at the end of the day. The only difference are the trims. The Scions have the Monograms and RS 1.0 while the BRZ has the limited and Blue editions.

There is a difference between the 13-14 and 15's handling because of the changes but it isn't massive. Other then that ya about the same.

Yeah but you wouldn't notice it unless you're pushing it to its limits on a track. The RS 1.0 has the TRD springs on it last time I checked I don't know how much of a difference those make, maybe a little stiffer.

If it was up to me I'd get the 2013 model if I could. It's the same as the newer ones and you should be able to find one for a steal price.

You can notice it even with some mid level road driving but like I said it is minimal. Good call on the RS and the TRD spring as they will ride closer to mine which falls in the middle between the stock 13/14s and 15s.
