Thanks again M&M Hwy9, had a blast! Also, thanks for the hospitality, Mark & Misty, you guys are great folks. My BRZ thanks you for its bug breakfast

Wish I could of made it today M&M. Still have guests in town. I hope to make it with everyone in July though. Looks like you guys are on Hwy9 near the summit at 35. Must have been perfect out.

Yeah, I was originally planning on just going through my proposed route, but I ended up following M&M lead. Went down 35, to 9, to 236, up empire grade (very fun), then back on 9. M&M and I were talking about maybe extending the original route, through the Big Basin area, but we may have to take it easy when in the park...

Yeah the narrow part of 236 is someplace to be extra careful.

I love that rest stop. It's a great view on a nice clear day.

I'd be down for this, if I had my car by then and had the willpower to wake up at 6am on a Saturday.

Just wanted to give a quick bump. M&M and I were considering extending the route further south into Big Basin, although we're gonna have to be in our best behavior, I hear rangers don't take to kindly to motoring enthusiasts... let me know what you guys think.

It gets pretty tight in there, lots of families with big family cars/SUVs, slow drivers, and hikers crossing the roads to get from one trail to another.

I can see why they wouldn't be to keen on a certain demographic ;)

Agreed, since that whole area is surrounded by great parks/trails/out doors stuff, there are usually tons of families, tourists and cyclists around during the weekends.

Putting this on my calendar. This is gonna be awesome!

Really looking forward to the drive. Thanks for coordinating this, and for the invitation! Just finished my break-in 1k mile mark yesterday. Ready for the ride!

Very interested, I don't know if I'll be in town that weekend, but if so, I'll try and make it!
