What's the deal with never using the thanks button? How about people that thanked once or twice and then suddenly decided "Nope. That's it."

It was fun at first but is wearing thin and the joke has gone on too long.
If you actually liked something that is great and thanks is appreciated but I am not enjoying getting up in the morning and finding 30+ thanks on one thread!

The sad part is that there are times I would actually like to thank a post more then once or in a different manner!
Saying the same "thanks" to somebody that posted some thing mildly interesting as to somebody that really helped or was brilliant seems to cheapen it.

Nah, that felt about right.

I feel a twinge of something when I respond to someone who has several hundred posts and zero thanks. The struggle is real.
