Amp\crossover\sub placement

My sound system currently consists of a single amp and a single sub. I am adding an additional amp for my fronts (doors+dash) as well as a crossover.

The new amp I bought is the same make\model as my sub amp and almost the same exact size, it's just 0.5" longer. I'm trying to plan out how to cleanly mount it and still have as much usable trunk space as possible. My current plan is to mount the new amp on the opposite side of the existing amp on the amp rack I built for my sub amp, and place the crossover where the factory amp is located. This is fine, I only lose maybe 5 more inches towards the middle of my trunk. Another thing that scares me, is this isn't quite a 'permanent' install, it would be an easy theft.

Looking through setups that other people have posted, they all have the majority of their trunk space available, and use either custom enclosures in the trunk corners, or in the spare tire well. I'm not sure I want to sacrifice my spare and I can't find any custom\compact enclosures that can hold a 12" sub with 1cu\ft of airspace that it needs.

I'd really like to mount the amps on the underside of the rear deck but my sub-box is a little too tall and will not allow both amps to fit.

Just trying to get a fresh set of eyes on this to see if I can come up with a plan b.

Thanks!

Sub box sits about 12.5" tall, and about 14" deep, 16" wide IIRC
Soundstream RUB1.1000D sub amp dimensions: 2" H x 8" W x 13.375" L
Soundstream RUB4.500 front amp dimensions: 2" H x 8" W x 13.875" L

Here's how it is now. It consumes probably about half trunk-space from left to right, and 3/4 from front to back. The wires are a little out place right now because I am messing around with the crossover.

I'll be making a new bottom board to extend out the left a bit to balance out the weight of the new amp. It'll look like an upside-down "T"
