JDM Style Headlights

So I have had my eyes on some Winjet JDM style headlights. I found some that are new on Ebay for over $100 less than most places. I just want to make sure that these are both these same and I'm not missing anything.

You get what you pay for- ESPECIALLY with electronics.

EDIT- I thought you said you saw some for $100. ha.

still.... Winjet isn't known for their reliability even at that price tag. Their fog kit for example.. good lord

but many do run the winjet headlights with no issues..

So are Winjet headlights one to stay clear of? Is there something better that looks similar?

Like I said Winjets aren't known for quality. A lot of people run those headlights with no issues. I don't trust anything less than OEM+ quality when it comes to electronics.

Look up Valenti's new offerings. mmm mmmmmm mmmmmmm. The price hurts the eyes, though.

men winjets is fine.. if youre gonna get this make sure to adjust it with 8mm because when you turn on the lights it is pointed down, at first i thought this is a issue until i googled how to adjust it..
If youre looking for something similar check out spyder headlights but beware of the price..

I bought the winjets and they suck. Really suck. They suck so bad i can't even sell them on ebay and still have a conscience.

Headlights are kind of important at night. They need to be dead-nuts reliable. I will never try aftermarket headlights again.

Why do they suck? Mine are perfectly fine...maybe it's ur bilb/hid kit?

The LED works on one light, but the other light it flickers and goes off. The high beams are awful. the light is vague and unfocused.
Some people get good ones, others don't. Quality means consistency.

Their light pattern is awful even with the best hid kits money can buy.

The sealant is terrible quality with winjets, I'd recommend opening them and resealing them with some quality window weld if you don't want condensation.

Get 2DS projectors and bulbs retrofit kit and your headlights will be amazing, they are a direct fit into the old projectors. There's a DIY here how to do it, including painting the chrome winjets to make them JDM style

My winjets are great....and lighting is fine. Also, got mine from Ebay

Midarete 01-13-2015 09:53 PM

I have winjets and they work fine.

Also fteightysix.com also just had a price drop on winjets $390 for black and $380 for chrome

I bought Winjets off ebay and installed them a month ago and they have been working perfectly. I haven't experienced any condensation or lights going out just yet, but that's just me. At the same time, I installed a Morimoto HID kit with them, the cutoff was just unacceptable, they were literally useless at night. But with some adjusting, they work pretty good.
