Again, all pulls with Stock ECU and K&N air filter. We will dyno again with Delicious Stage 2 and post results when we get a chance. Probably won't be for a while as the we're in winter re-build stage and the car is in pieces.

Interesting design. So this should increase the header pipe length, which should produce a flatter torque curve vs the shorter headers most of the aftermarket employs? The dyno looks a bit funky, but that's what it appears to be doing if I'm reading it right.

Will be interesting to see what kind of results occur with a tune. Peak HP/TQ is nice and all, but I'd rather have a flatter, more predictable torque curve personally, and this looks promising in that regard.

I really like this.. Something to keep in mind as I'm doing headers sometime in the summer.

Sweat Jesus that setup is quite.

Does the header(421) come wrapped as it is in the photos?

tahdizzle 01-16-2015 05:23 PM

So that dyno is the 4-2-1 header with a tune. That torque "rollercoaster"? is quite horrendous IMO.

The design is impressive; however, the numbers are not. Once again, my opinion.

@AceHeader-MT: any way to do... local pickup?

I am going back to Taiwan in August and may be interested in picking it up. Can probably ship for others worldwide if paid in advance.

Thanks.

To all you metric lovers, how many kW is this?

Serious note:

Curious why no photos of the primary merges.

Also dyno graphs that don't start the power and torque at zero are EXTREMELY deceptive in comparisons.

Just saying...

The dyno is without a tune.

Part of the reason is the graphs don't start at zero. We are basically zoomed in, which magnifies the changes. Useful technique for visually looking much better than a competitor if your advantage is small. But the side effect is amplifying the ups and downs.

A graph starting from zero would show that the roller coaster isn't that crazy. But also that there's a negligible difference with 'Brand X'.

In short, meh.

Yes, the header comes wrapped. But only if requested:)

That particular header came off the car after the Tsukuba and Suzuka runs.

It's the latest revision of our design so the other un-wrapped versions are slightly different. We didn't want to post photos of inferior parts

Production set-up should be finished in a few weeks. After that we'll post better photos of the header, runners and collector

ETA for these being ready to ship? You've got my business on the 421. It seems expensive at first but then when you compare it to other headers plus overpipe its not bad.
