BRZ HD Radio on/off
 

On my BRZ, some stations seem to come in "HD" - but only for 10-15 seconds at a time. When in HD, the highs are very brilliant - but when it cuts off, it's like a blanket over my speakers. Quite annoying. Reminds me of the old days when your radio would flip from stereo to mono depending on the signal strength.

Anyone else have this issue? Should I just keep HD off, and adjust my EQ to "lift the blanket"?

Another issue is my iPod sounds very thin using the USB - just no body to it. Very disappointing. SAT sounds the best, but I don't plan on paying to keep it.
