Chuckwalla with CSG Mike

For the past few months Mike and David from Counter Space Garage have been helping me with parts for my FRS. Well today was the big day. Mike went out to chuckwalla Valley Raceway with me today to set up my suspension and give me some coaching.

Mike's pretty amazing. You haven'y lived until you have done a few laps with him.

Mike spent most of the morning tuning my coil overs, then we started the serious driving. By the end of the day I had knocked 6 seconds off my best time and Mike says with practice I can drop that quite a bit more.

I highly recommend anyone serious about tracking your car to give Mike a chance. He instructs in a way that's easy to understand, even for an old fart like me. I think most of all he gave me a lot of confidence in my car so I can push it harder bit by bit with out being scared. All in all a really good day.

CSG is definitely one of the best shop for track junkies. They are generous in sharing their experience and will go the extra mile to assist you achieving your goal. Both @CSG Mike and @CSG David are amazing drivers and they know how to give tailored feedbacks for individual driver to improve on.

Many years ago Mike took me for a few laps around the Roval for my first ever experience on a road course, I was AMAZED, it helped me out a TON just knowing what the car was capable of, without him I would have been easily 10 seconds a lap slower...

6 seconds is a lot of time!

Having an expert help with suspension setup is priceless. That this expert is also a good instructor is above an beyond.

Now I need him to come to Roebling Road in Georgia and set my car up for track and autocross.
Ah to be famous and wanted.
