nightshade headlight housing?
 

I think I am going to be doing this tonight, has anyone actually done it yet, im sure someone has? Any pics/ recommendations? My main questions is will I need a clear coat with this? Im thinking no due to it being inside the housing, but would still like inputs form the more experienced guys. thanks.

Don't spray anything on the outside of your headlight housings...you will decrease light output. If you want to tint your headlights, bake them and peel them apart, paint the inside for a tinted look and no decrease in light output.

What is your goal? A black chrome effect or just blacking them out? If you want black chrome, there's better options than nightshade which is going to be dull and not shiny. If you're wanting to go black, it's best to just paint them black for the same reason.
