WTB: clock spring assembly
Here's a long-shot.
I damaged my clock-spring cable while re-installing it after swapping back to my OEM wheel and now my driver's side airbag light is on. I don't really want the dealer to look into this as it will risk voiding my warranty, so I just want to change the part myself first and hope it eliminates the problem. If the light is still on, then I will at least be comfortable taking it in for diagnostic with the knowledge that they won't find a damaged part if they go digging. This part can be from an FR-S or BRZ. Preferably unopened, as the trouble starts once the unit has been opened (stupid me). If you don't know what a clock-spring is, you probably don't have one for me, so don't worry about it. LOL. Or if anyone knows where I can get a new one locally without having to pay dealer prices, that'd be great too. Thanks |
Try this scrap yard. It's in Alberta though.
Maybe they can send it over. 403 618-3946 |

Yeah I know for a fact I tore the white ribbon inside of the clock-spring because I didn't follow directions properly. Not supposed to open the clock-spring casing.
My own stupid mistake, and I'm paying for it. |
FOUND ONE!
Thanks! |
