inspection site?
 

Can anyone recommend a good inspection site to go to in the Fairfax/FairLakes area? Hoping to find one that's friendly with my mod list.

Full exhaust w/ catted header, catless FP, and panel filter.

Anyone posted on the forums will be of no use. Someone will be sent to test their inspection procedures and then fined out the ass. Your best bet is to go in person and ask around. Make it very clear you're not under cover and you're cool. That's what I had to do.

I also picked a shop that was closed so their systems were down. They passed my inspection first time go.

I went to another shop for my exhaust/emissions and from my understanding the exhaust cannot be fluked around here. Or maybe it's just emissions? The way the guy explained to me was that their system operated with full camera/audio recording hardware to prevent fraud. He said if he could let me pay him under the table he would, but he physically couldn't. He also could have been total bullshit but that's what I got.

EDIT: I am from Fair Lakes area too. The shops I visited were in Woodbridge.

Yet another reason I love being a Maryland driver rather than a virginia one :)
