Failing Grade Performance :)
|
Dispute this as a vendor significant nonperformance claim with your CC company, and start the return process.. they're being negligent and you have the upper hand here, given you've documented everything

nothing like police knocking down their door to get your money back...

So this morning I happened to be up when Weapons Grade decided to text me saying he will not be finishing the job because he saw this thread. (Not like I have tried to hide it)
Since that is the path he has chosen to take I have chosen to make a complete posting of everything that happened, all the pictures and put it all together to show exactly how this has taken place. As of just a second ago he is now trying to hold the remaining items for his supposed kit over my head to keep payment and saying I should not threaten him. He wants this thread deleted and he will finish the job. |
So you paid for items and he's not going to send them?
Isn't that theft? Or something? |

He is still texting me, apparently I guess he thought I was just going to apologize and beg him to finish, I have no intention of doing that.
However if he can stand up and admit to the BS, admit he screwed up and made a mistake then handle it I will let everything go. Was it an ideal transaction at that point, no but things happen and I can be very understanding to a point. He is at that point, where he has to ask if his Ego is worth overriding his Integrity. Attached are the pictures of the invoice showing the company he paid to redo the GM harness charged 470 not the 700-800 he claims. I honestly don't care in the end how much profit he made, just that he delivered what was promised. |
Currently he promises to return the stock harness, the bracket needed for the tach and to finish the deal.
In return I will delete my posts and this thread. I agreed upon a completed deal. So we shall see what happens. The deal is for a complete setup, everything inside working as it should and the CEL setup although I am guessing I will end up doing that myself. Let's see if this happens. |

You shouldn't delete this thread... that's the whole point of a review. If he made it right, good on him, but you shouldn't mask the shortcomings.
|
You know, it sucks if you delete this thread, because it will help potential future customers make a more informed decision (like me, I'm thinking of doing LS swap someday).
On the other hand, good for you this thread has given you leverage with these F'n dead beats at Weapons Grade Performance. Also, in the end if they don't complete, you could always switch to Vorschlag, I bet the quality would be better and I would rather entrust them with my car and pay some more than stick with WGP. |

I was told he is finishing everything else, apparently an employee took an unannounced break.

that's utter bullshit that he's holding parts over your head and getting wound up over this review thread. The proof is in the pudding and that "man" should come on this thread and explain why you have received such piss poor service and product from a company, by the looks of how they talk about themselves, seeking a vanguard, botique position in the community.
I mean, for god's sakes.. their claims... "We are the Northeast’s Newest Performance and Racing Shop. When you’re 'Weapons Grade' your car has the highest quality parts combined into the best performing systems available, and you have the industry’s most knowledgable team behind you to make sure you’re at the top of the food chain." - Taken directly from their website |
Just spitballing here, but who is the owner of this shop. I have heard of another shop in the 90's that got shut down in Seattle area...just saying.
