LED Fog Lights
Does anyone have any idea of how the OLM Vision LED Fogs compare to the Morimoto XB (Type S) LED Fogs? There's a bitprice difference between them. I've heard of Morimoto, but OLM not a brand I'm familiar with.
I've included product links below: OLM Vision LED Fogs ($160.00): http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/olm-...ings-1731.html Morimoto XB LED Fogs ($185.00): http://www.prolightz.com/index.php/l...ts-type-s.html Thanks in advance, iLaw |
This probably doesn't help, but I actually bought the XML2's from Diode Dynamics for $120, but it's just to replace the stock bulb, didn't include the housing. My BRZ already came with fogs option. Anyways, I did a review on it: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76232
Maybe you can pick up housing for less than $40? |

I considered the XML2's, but for that price I prefer an LED setup that goes through proper optics and focuses the light properly. Thanks tho. |
We actually offer LED housing replacements as well!

2012-2014 BRZ's do require the H16 adapter. If you give us a call, we can make sure it's included with your order: (314) 205-3033 Nick C. |

These are just the initial pictures, there will be better output shots soon  Nick C. |

I was thinking this as well. It'd be nice to see the beam shot, in reference to the lows as well.

We will have more output shots available early next week. The output pattern is roughly 3' off the ground, which is exactly where it needs to be for the fog light location.
These will not create any excessive glare for other drivers, and are DOT compliant as I previously mentioned. Thanks! Nick C. |
That's odd. They are definitely projecting UP in that photo, unless the car itself is on an incline. Are these adjustable on any way?

http://www.diodedynamics.com/images/...6041-2_w_2.jpg Again, we will have more pictures available as we just got them added to our inventory. As I mentioned earlier, These lamps have been tested for SAE compliance, and are DOT and ECE compliant. The output pattern is very wide, and this picture was taken very close to the wall of our studio Nick C. |
