Clutch/diff question
 

Ive seen two or three threads about this but no solid answer. When i pull out if my driveway in the morning on turn i can feel the the clutch vibrate and the diff almost acts like its locking up and preventing me from going and it bogs through the rpm's till i shift. This has happening since 50 miles and now still at 3,500 miles. It also does it anytime im at a standstill making a right or left turn but its not as bad it just feels like its preventing me from going and i can feel the rear end and clutch vibrate. (Ive swapped my diff fluid and this still happens) any ideas im going nuts

Have you had it checked at all?
I have never experienced any of those symptoms.

Perfectly normal feedback from a Torsen diff. You're chasing a ghost. Next time you make a sharp turn under acceleration, quickly disengage the clutch and coast the rest of the way through. The shudder you are feeling will disappear because the differential is no longer resisting the different speeds of the wheels.

That's why it's called a limited-slip differential.

I could be wrong,but it might be the brakes dragging on one of the wheels when you turn, it would explain why your engine bogs if it is having to fight the brakes.

2. It Has a Torsen Limited-Slip Differential
Tada-san prefers the quicker reactions of a clutch-type limited-slip differential but settled on a Torsen gear-type differential because of its progressive engagement. There's also a brake differential built into the stability control system's operation which Tada-san says reacts faster than the Torsen anyway. But when stability control is fully disabled (by pressing and holding the traction control button for 3 seconds) the brake differential is gone as well.
And that's when the magic happens anyway, right?

I get a little bit of hesitation (AT) from the diff when making a sharp turn when the engine is still warming up to temp. I've always chalked it up to the limited slip.

yea it happens more then not when the car hasnt reached correct temperatures and ive only owned for two months so its been cold out all the time
