definitely need more track time this year.

question. does the oem sti lip, side and gurney flap count as level 1 aero, or is it considered cosmetic? :)

STi lip counts as level 1 front aero.

STi gurney counts as aftermarket spoiler

The side is free.

Discussion is being held for a cross-over event with the AP1/AP2 chassis. Currently, the belief is that the S2000 platform performs at a level "one class higher" than the FRS/BRZ/AE86.

This is interesting :D

I also vote that all cars should be inspected by an official at the end of the event, for specifications change (from any previous events) and adjusted or protested.
And protesting for the rules should be reported to the official by members and not against each other directly.

It's a lot of work but perhaps a 30 minute 'impound rule" after each event, where all the participants can look at each other's cars in class and report infractions to officials?
(It saves some work for the officials as there will be many eyes on the cars, and spotting of illegal mods become more likely)

I'll have more free time this year, so I may be going around randomly auditing cars :eyebulge:

So you guys can be the premier one. I just have a hard time with series claiming "national" when they don't leave a state or an area of the country not unlike the USTCC which says United States, but didn't leave the Southwest last year.

Ironically, the 86CUP, even in just SoCal, has more total attendance than the USTCC. Hmm....

There have been multiple attempts to get 86CUPs started elsewhere, but without strong leadership, the attempts haven't gotten much traction.
