Catless headers in PA

Do any of you pa guys run Catless headers and if so do you run into any emissions problems? I want to go Catless for better flow and sound but don't wan to mess with switching the headers every time I get emissions tested.

My girlfriends brother in law just bought an EVO with no cats.

He just got it inspected and it passed emissions because the tune eliminated the CEL lights on the dash. Only thing is that the mechanic or whoever is in charge of doing the inspection needs to overlook the visible check for cats.

Great! If it's just a visual overlook then I'll be smooth sailing as long as it will pass emissions I'm good. Thanks

All you need is no lights on the dash and you are fine. which is easy to get around.

Depends who you go to a dealer probably won't overlook it, I know mustang owners with off road x pipes and the mechanic not at a dealer didn't bat an eye and it passed because there were no emissions codes. Also I wouldn't personally go totally cat less the smell gets old quick ditch the one in the front pipe and maybe get catted uels or vice versa

Dealers not gonna see it. There's a shield there and no flat rate guys gonna bother taking it off if there's no CEL.

Unless it's obnoxiously loud and someone gets over zealous.
