Rear upper control arm ball joint?

Trying to get the part number for the ball joint that is on the rear upper control arm. Searched but can't locate it.....

Both toyota and subaru only show the entire rear upper arm being for sale..... You have to be able to buy just the ball joint right?

Buy a salvage one?

I wish this were true!! When we originally designed the upper control arms we wanted to offer them with an OEM ball joint, however Toyota has considered it a non-serviceable item and you have to replace the whole arm!! Thanks Toyota!!

I also recently discovered that the front lower control arms have gone the same route late in 2014. We were purchasing 20 to 30 OEM front lower control arm ball joints, but apparently the part number does not exist anymore and according to some dealerships never existed!! The front lower control arm ball joint is now considered non-servicable as well.

Sweet....

I destroyed my ball joint dust boot taking the arm out. Any idea where I can get a new boot? Aftermarket?

I know that energy suspension makes aftermarket dust boots, I do not know how well they fit or how effective they are. I also know ebay has several universal dust boot kits, again now sure how good they truly are.

QA1 may also have universal dust boots as well. Hope that helps some.

Not a first for Toyota. For example, the upper ball joints on a MKIII Supra are non serviceable as well. :(

Audi S4's are the same, and they have like 8 arms per end of the car!

I did a search to see if MOOG offered something, typically they'll having one of their "problem solvers" for these situations. I didn't find anythign there either.

They do have adjustable toe arms

and adjustable lower control arms though.
