That's an RFID sticker used for inventory tracking at some dealers. It's supposed to be removed before they deliver it to you. Pull it off. Or point it out to the tint guy and let him pull it off and clean the residue, since he should know how to make sure the glass is clean so that the tint will adhere properly.

On a different note, you're getting that ugly sun strip? They wanted to put that strip on mine, but to me that sharp line across the windshield looks cheap, so I told them not to. I also didn't want the inevitable bubbles in the dot matrix area around the mirror. They did it anyway, and I made them take it off. Just because it's part of the tint package doesn't mean you have to have it.

i got a tint strip there. florida sucks .. i also got tint on the front windshield to block out UV and keep car cooler since my new work and new house don't have garages and it bakes outside.

I understand the reasoning. I live in Louisiana, and we have our share of sunshine.

I use the OEM sunshade when parked. That takes care of that.

I was "lucky" to have had a rock break my windshield within the first two weeks I had the car. When I had it replaced, I bought replacement glass that had a tint band in it. The transition from tint to clear is very smooth. It's not nearly as dark as the tint film, but at least it doesn't have that horrible line across the windshield.

I think it's the UPC for the FRS, so you can do self check-out.

Or it's a maintenance sticker, some guy named extrashaky gave me that info.
