or just go no plates.
but a relocator kit is your best bet |
A lot of us in Socal don't run one and haven't gotten any trouble. But I think it depends on the area. I'm in OC but I've heard LA is a little more strict cause of parking security etc.
interesting thread if you haven't seen: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70777 |
I'd get the kit if you don't wanna get pulled over.

My solution was one of these:
http://www.skenedesign.com/FPBracket/index.shtml I've had it on for over a year with no issues. Two little holes (1/8") underneath the bumper lip is all you need. |
most people with relocators go with the grimspeed - http://www.fteightysix.com/appearanc.../#.VKhZS2TF838

Amazon. 45$ Godspeed relocator.

I have a relocating kit ill take 30 for it

3M tape ftw

Zip tie

I have not had a front plate on my last 3 cars, since I started driving in 2002. I've been pulled over a few times for various things, parking tickets, etc., and I've never had a cop mention anything about the lack of a front plate.

Perrin makes a good mount that is a little harder to get the plate on than the Grimspeed, but I like the build quality and its a little lighter.
