What exactly am I looking at?

Can someone help me? My question is essentially, how do I install this brz limited seat in my FrS? This is a picture of the bottom of a BRZ limited front seat and I'm not sure what to make of the wires. I plan to put these seats in my FRS but I want to make sure that I don't screw up the airbags and also make sure that I can plug in these seat to my car because it appears that the main wire is cut when it was removed. In the future I will consider hooking up the seat heaters. I'm hoping this is a wire that is now attached to my car and this won't matter. I've look in the forums but they all mentioned stuff about removing and installing airbag resisters for aftermarket seats and none answered my question precisely.

Should be a pretty straight forward install. The three connectors in the picture are likely seat belt/heating element/ weight sensor (airbags). You definitely will have the seat belt/ weight sensor connectors on the FRS seats. Its a shame the PO cut that harness in the picture, Will have to either wire new pigtail for it or splice into the chassis harness. The seat will bolt in no problem. Hopefully there is a harness for you to plug the heating element pigtail into otherwise you will have a nice wiring project on your hands. GL

Thanks for the information. So, does anyone know, assuming I figure out the wiring situation, what to do to make sure the air bags don't deploy? Simply just disconnect the battery when installing?
