Alfa Romeo 4C Wheels
1 Attachment(s)
18 x 7.0 205/40ZR18 - front, 19 x 8.5 235/35ZR19 - rear
Can anyone tell me if this would fit my FR-S? I don't know the bolt pattern because I can't find the specs for that. Has anyone put larger size wheels on the rear? I'm considering using this setup or 18's all around or 19's all around. I would like to hear opinions on all setups. I have stock suspension. I might lower it at a later point. The tread on the 18's are less than the stock tires. This concerns me a lot because the rear is already a bit squirrelly. With larger wheels, will the camber need to be changed? Thanks |
Even if the PCD and hub bore fit, which is doubtful, the offset isn't really correct.
The fronts are +33 which you can't do much to fix, the wheels would stick outside the front fenders. The rears are +49 which you could use spacers to make fit but there wouldn't be much point. Having the wider wheels in the rear will make the car handle worse and understeer. Do it for looks but realize it will affect the handling. The 4C has the setup because it's short wheelbase and most of the weight is in the rear. |

17s or 18's square are generally a better setup than 19s due to weight and cost (both wheel and especially the tires). That is unless you're going for a pure show car look and never intend on using the car for much more than that. If you want a wheel that looks like the above, O.Z. has a wheel called the "Wave" in both 17 5x100 and 18 5x112 that could work. Here's the .pdf http://www.oz-japan.com/products/pdf/WAVE_141215.pdf and the website link... http://www.oz-japan.com/products/x_line/Wave/ http://www.oz-japan.com/images/produ...mg_main_01.jpg |
PCD? Sorry I don't know all the acronyms. So you are saying that there is no way to make these wheels fit in any arrangement? I love the looks of these, but I don't want to sacrifice any handling. I want to improve the handling or I won't change from stock. Thanks

I have seen those OZ wheels and I think they look like crap. Thanks for the suggestion though.

PCD is the bolt pattern (spacing of the bolt holes from each other). Im sure there are many threads about this stuff. The amount of work to make them fit probably wouldn't be worth it and it would make the handling worse on the car. The stagger is also quite aggresive and may look out of proportion on our cars.
+ the wheels would probably be quite expensive. Anything Italian can get kinda crazy haha |
Oh well. Guess I'll continue my quest of finding something unique. Thanks for all the info.

I Posted these wheels awhile ago and someone with not so good taste in wheels said it would look terrible.. Dude lost his mind....The Alfa Romeo style Wheels would look Bad Ass on the BRZ..... I been looking all over for a similar style. Actually if I could get White to match my Car and Orange, Gold or Yellow Brembo Calipers, it would be sharp as hell !!!
Great Choice |
I feel like the wheels from the 4c, the actual wheels, would set you back way more than a good set of Volks or Works

The bolt pattern for the 4C is 5x98 and center bore is 58.1mm. Not going to fit without an adapter unfortunately.
