also seem to have lost my 2 step. I have reloaded the tune.
Having idle issues and startup issues.

Check the fuse for obd port

Check you obd socket/plug that no pins bent or pushed back into socket in car.

See if another obd device such as scanner will talk to obd port.

I gather the car starts and runs ??

Yeah it did tonight. It was giving me issues at start up the other day.
Almost like an old carbureted car would.

Can you reflash a known working tune ??

If the previous tune was ok then it might be some other hardware issue.

If your boosted a few guys have had cats disintergrate and block exhaust causing weird issues.

I only have one tune...
I am boosted but straight piped.
I am gonna go put a fresh vacuum setup in it again and see if maybe that helps.

Do you have a good connection at the OBD-II port?

Also what version of windows are you running?

I wonder if the usb ports on those tablets can supply suffient current and stable voltages to drive the ecutek or any other flashing cable.

even when using a laptop i always have the ac power connected just to be sure when flashing.

Good thing to note, but we have a Dell Pro 8 Tablet and it works fine. But we will keep an eye on that, as it is a good point. But I believe the cable is powered by the OBD-II port itself anyways.

Can you connect and reprogram or even do live data connect?

Well I am speaking to EcuTeK about the DTC check, as I have had a couple other people have a connection issue with OBD-II DTC's.

You can also use the feature under programming ECU, as we have found this works a little better. Try that and see if that works better.
