Brz/Frs like a second wing-man?

Ok, so I go out pretty frequently to bars and nightclubs and kinda like to think of my car as a second wing-man.
The reason I say second wing-man is because I don't brag about it or say I drive a "nice" car but usually when
I'm taking a girl back, I feel it helps me seal the deal. Most girls are really happy getting to ride in it. So my question
is has your car ever helped you in getting girls?

Chad11491 12-27-2014 01:46 PM

i used to get comments all the time, and they loved the t-tops haha. I had one girl from work get in and when I cranked it up she was like so that's why you like it. Good times.

Because New Jersey?

Ganthrithor 12-27-2014 01:54 PM

Nope, it attracts dudes.

LOL +1 on this. More dudes on the road than gals giving me the stare.
Although in college... that was a different story

Really I get equal amounts of attention from girls and guys. Girls mainly stare and say nice car and the guys ask is it fast and a manual.

kberkel 12-27-2014 05:28 PM

I wish I had this car in college :D Bought it when I graduated.

Girls in their late 20s and older say it's bumpy, loud, and hard to get out of. Bunch of complainers. There's no young girls where I live now, so it kinda sucks.

But when I go to younger cities, those girls love it.

hmong337 12-27-2014 06:18 PM

I can see where you're coming from. Back in my earlier single days and on the prowl, my sw20 was my mechanical wingman ahah. Girls used to always ask what kind of car it was- to my response "Ferrari" lol.

The frs/brz definitely lives up to wingman mobile as it is sexy as hell. The good thing about the frs/brz is that is has extra back seats to pick up more chicks ahah.

themadscientist 12-27-2014 06:31 PM

I get girls in spite of my car. I usually drive weird, loud uncomfortable cars designed just to fight. My women don't like that. I must say, though, the BRZ really pleased my wife when we rented the test car. I loved it too so I guess my tastes are changing a bit.

IDFWU 420 12-27-2014 06:40 PM

Just because you have a nice car doesn't mean girls will open up your panties for you, knowing your way talking to a girl is the most important thing if you're trying to get laid, the sexyness of the car is an added bonus lol

x1UP 12-27-2014 06:47 PM

i've had my girl (friends) ride in it and every time, they ask me how many girls i've picked up with it. So far, 1.

:(

Choco 12-27-2014 06:47 PM

I'm a girl and lots of girls that stare at me think BRZs are very expensive. :/

themadscientist 12-27-2014 07:14 PM

I would find it a turn off if a girl got more friendly because of my car or some other thing I owned. i don't like superficial people. I picked up my wife on our first date in a beat up Skyline with a broken seat belt I had to tie in a knot so she would feel somewhat safe and the wastegate shooting flames through a hole in the hood. She dug me despite my car.

How do the fellas react when they meet your car?

Yeah I know some guys that buy nice cars, mod it up and expect girls to come to them when knowing it doesn't work that way.. lol pretty sad

They usually look like they can't believe I drive it. :eyebulge: And when they have the chance, they try to talk to me about it.
Many would talk to me to the point that I just want to leave. :mad0259:

I can just imagine that conversation though if they don't know much about cars...:sigh:

Sounds like the car makes for a pretty good loserometer. When I first met my wife she was pleasantly surprised I didn't make a big deal about her Honda Shadow. Made for a good first impression. ;)

giorgi0424 12-27-2014 11:35 PM

I've had girls drive my car and they absolutely love it. As long as they have some interest in driving, they enjoy my car a lot

Ultramaroon 12-27-2014 11:43 PM

Women I meet don't care about the car because the roofies have already kicked in.

Sounds stereotypically dude. You might have to do the same thing some car guys have to do, find someone who doesn't care.

Speed2th 12-28-2014 12:46 AM

you will regret that you drive a frs or brz when you have to pick up 2+ girls. all they remember would be it is a cramp bumpy car

FluffyBrz 12-28-2014 01:05 AM

girls pull up all the time and try to see if theres a guy driving...

the dissapointment on their faces when they see its a girl is priceless bahaha

I usually get a good laugh about it after. But it's always freaking awkward.

Hopefully I can find someone or someone finds me who at least shares some of my interest. :/

themadscientist 12-28-2014 04:25 AM

My wife doesn't know much about cars and she is not really into driving, but she loves ridng with me and is very excited about the incoming BRZ. Her liking the car was part of my decision to buy it.

Omg feel your pain

Work colleagues ask about what I did on the weekend, ummm either raced, or my car was on the hoist... Then I try and tak about the amazing OS Giken clutch I just ordered, or the car I tuned in the weekend, or the new hydro hand break I just got ... lmao,
Yep doesn't always translate lol

JERM^ 12-28-2014 09:14 AM

I like to think of this top as two folds. 1. People who has no idea about cars think my car is nice and think I am rich. I hate this cuz it makes me feel pretentious and my co-workers think I make too much. 2. People who knows what this car is all about and compliments me on my choice of car, that is good.

Oh and about the wingman thing, I would think it works on most chicks. Know car or not, chicks can love this car.

Back before my wife and I were serious, she helped me replace the rear main seal on my Eclipse. Sometime after, I mentioned it to my brother. He asked me if we were dating.

I said, "I dunno. We're just hanging out... friends, blah blah" He looked at me with a dead serious look "Dude, she helped you drop your transmission. She's your girlfriend."

I'm not smart. That was the turning point in our relationship. :D

It would be cool to come up with a routine to fuck with them.

:laughabove:LOL!!! Ive had that happen multiple times already!!! Its pretty funny!

sftateofmind 12-30-2014 03:43 PM

My GF loves it and drives it from time to time. She gets a lot of looks from dudes as it is so I'm always curious how bold guys get when they see her in the BRZ.

For me I've gotten some looks but never talked to or attempted to pick up any girls because girlfriend lol.

Ammonia 12-30-2014 04:09 PM

My wife hates my car.

"Too loud and uncomfortable."

I think its because I drive it loudly and uncomfortably.

She loves the Audi I bought her though. #golddigger

Xuningshen 12-30-2014 04:09 PM

Im in socal. The only girls who have gotten remotely excited about driving in my car are two from Ireland. They were visiting for a week and the whole time they were taking turns riding with me since I would only take 1 at a time.
