Forgestar F14 Discussion Thread

For the 18x9.5 F14. Apparently there is the Super deep concave? Is this true, since on the main site there is only deep concave, not the super deep for the 18x9.5

Also report any fitment with different height adjustment, strut rubbing, fender? What if I lower the car 0.599" ;) Lets see how many OCD people out there xD

I guess no big fans of F14

Vten 12-29-2014 12:36 AM

I happened to just checking these wheels ,and wondering to build a 17x9.5 or maybe 10" wide ...need to clear the Sti brembo upgrade .

Mikeez 12-29-2014 02:03 PM

I want sti brembo =[. It should clear with 9.5

Pkush 12-29-2014 02:13 PM

I'm looking into the F14's. Would the 9.5's fit without rubbing on a stock BRZ?

If you don't lower the car, but change to coilovers there will be no issues at all. From what I've heard.

There are literally TONS of fitment threads on this forum regarding wheel/tire size.

Pkush 12-29-2014 03:42 PM

I'm aware, I'm also aware that I get people saying they will rub, and people saying they will not. Therefore I'm hoping to see if maybe someone with first-hand experience will tell me. Thanks for your input SnuffBox, it was very helpful.

Edit: They do offer. 18x 9.5, 10, 11, 12 in super deep concave.

Tire size is a big factor even in-between brands there's a difference in what a "265" tire is now.

Id just get coils to be safe if you want to run a 18X9.5 setup

I literally think you have no idea what the word literally means.:)

Ahhh, the pedant has arrived. Welcome!

I'm well aware of the difference between literally and figuratively. Apparently you weren't able to pick up my sarcasm through context.

Context, is a very important aspect of language. ;)

There are tons of thread, however I personally still like to confirm the specific product before buying it for many reasons.

One reason, because I don't have a lot of money to buy and resell the wheels and I live in Canada, so importing from the states or elsewhere is not an easy step.

Yes in 18" there is super deep now, but it will not work on any non-widebody FRS. Brake clearance will be an issue since the spokes are too concave, but the offsets as well aren't in the range we would want to build you for. In order to clear the brakes the wheels would sit halfway out the fenders, so it's not something we suggest unless you have a Rocket Bunny kit for example.
