hid bulb size for 2015 rs 1.0

Hi, I have a rs 1.0 that came with stock hids, I want to change the color temp to 8 or 10k. What is the bulb size for this car? Or do I have to buy a new hid kit?

Look at your engine.

I believe it's like page 310 in your owner's manual. If not, look at the index at the back and find "lights."

Just buy ultra white bulbs. Putting in HIDs without retrofitting to a proper projector is worthless imo it's not a clean cutoff or light in general otherwise.

I didn't know the JDM headlights would have problems with D4S bulbs.

Wait, you do know that the Release Series comes with HID's standard, right? OP just wants to change color temps.

D4S bulbs, btw, OP.

Morimoto is quality stuff. Definitely getting 5k if TRS carries D4S bulbs.

8 or 10K isnt a very good colour temp to have. They won't be as bright and you'll lose visibility during night driving. 5 or 6K is ideal for headlights. 6K is the brightest you can go before losing visibility.

Unless you just want the look, I'd recommend against it.
