help please skunk 2 intake installation
 

The extra piece (removable plastic piece) that comes inside the mass air flow housings provided by skunk2, does it stay in the housing upon installation,or is that piece disregarded if the car is tuned?thanks for the help in advance.

Ahh i see now it came installed backwards from factory.it was causing me confusion because it slid in and out very easily.all is well now mods can delete.
