Vinyl on driver's seat split open; dealer will replace
I had a situation with my 2015 FR-S where the vinyl portion of the driver's seat (on the left near the seam with the cloth section) split open. This was a very small split but as the car is only three months in my possession, I went back to the dealer where I bought the car. The service guy took one look at the split and said "No problem, we'll order you a new seat." I'm not sure if this is a known issue or not, but that dealer just went WAY up in my estimation. I will definitely be back to do business with them again.
I noticed in passing that the vinyl thickness is comparable with rice paper. Surely they weren't trying to save weight in the seating! :iono: I think it was more about saving money.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
