Helix Side Markers Issue
Hey everyone,
I recently installed the Helix side markers but I'm able to pull the side markers without much hassle. Any ideas what could be wrong? The side markers make a click sound when the clips are in so I thought they were fine but no bueno... |

There is a little clip that probably popped out the attaches to the side. I superglued mine on and it fits perfect like a glove.
Top tip: remove the clip thing that sits above the side marker on each side of the car. Now you don't need to remove the side marker from the bumper to pull the bumber off :) |
I noticed when you push the lights in, the bumper moves just a little bit. I used a screw driver behind the bracket to stop the bumper from moving when I pushed the light in and I heard the light click 3 times.

And yeah the A clip on the right side marker flew off when I was double checking the fitment. Like what the hell. Only my left side marker has fitment issues at the moment. I'll see how this goes. |
the clips are cheap.just remove it and drill into them and zip tie your side markers on. if you remove your bumper a lot which i do, it'll break eventually anyway. plus, its more secure and easier to remove.
or just take off the stock clips and swap it if you're adamant about it |
The clips suck. I went through the cheap ebay ones first and i broke one putting it in and taking it out. Had to super glue it back to the side marker. I bought the helix set and both require quite a bit of effort but it's a weird angle, push the bumper down a little. Once their in, tug on them a little and if they don't slip out, you're good.

I had the helix ones, the clips suck. You can pull them out with pliers then glue them back in. Or just get the JDM/EDM ones. Learned the hard way that cheap isn't always cheap ;)
