You have s/n DT2-001192, which should be a v2.

well found the solution. i had to check a bunch of stuff under my car so i completely disconnected it and disconnected the battery. once i was done hooked both back up, and like 30 seconds after i started my car it showed up again.. so weird

New app was uploaded a month ago and should get everything working on the V2 Flex Fuel kits.

Bumping cuz I noticed my FlexFuel bluetooth will not connect to the App. On my OnePlus, it gave the bluetooth rejected. Then I pulled out a much older phone. Connected to the box, but the app would not connect after several minutes. Wondering if there was an update to the app recently that made it buggy?

yeah it's kinda lame. Like I don't NEED to know the ethanol content but would like to!

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the grave but has there any updates on that gauge @DeliciousTuning was working on?

flex fuel issues

has anyone ever had the issue that the flex fuel module doesn't have the green light on as if there's no power going to the module? just rebuilt my motor but now having issues with either the module or sensor is my guess, looking at the live data its showing either 0% or 2% ethanol content. even though I have half a tank of fuel and its all e85. car is supercharged with the JR C38 kit. is there any good way to at least test for power, I assume it comes from the 02 sensor but curious if anyone knows for sure. my other option is to take the kit off and send it back to delicious, but I also don't want to deal with the wait time in doing so. Vehicles already been down for multiple months and I want to finally get it up and going again. My other thought is to drain the tank and just dump in some 91, take off the sensor and hope that the car will still actually run properly without the sensor even though the car is tuned to have the ethanol content accounted for.

I had an issue last year that sounds very similar. Check your fuel pressure. My car was taking more time to fire up when cranking sometimes and that was what tipped me off. I could watch my fuel pressure when doing a pull on the highway and it would fluctuate around 30psi instead being steady at 60psi.
One of the orings in my fuel pump had ripped and squished the other 2 out of the way enough where It'd lose enough fuel pressure for the ethanol sensor to lose it's reading.

How are you logging the low fuel pressure?

i have the delicious tuning ethanol kit with the fuel pressure safety switch so i used the app since it reads in psi and i had a mental note of my baseline fuel pressure from earlier cruises. I could also see the pressure on my ecutek data logs but its in MPa and i didnt know what to expect there.

tomm.brz 02-09-2022 03:34 AM

Ah ok understood, thanks

ecutek logs only the high pressure fuel, and that s in MPa
the Low pressure fuel has no sensor stock

Question: if I already have the flexfuel kit (custom tuned for turbo) installed and then I decide to upgrade headers, does that require a re-tune at both 91 and e85? Or will simply updating the tune at e85 suffice?
