Aaron,

I forgot you'd been tuned by Church! Typically we setup our Flex Fuel tunes to read ethanol content through "Custom Map P Result". More than likely, Shawn has his setup on a different custom map. Your best bet is going to be to ask Shawn which map he setup ethanol content to read through so you can view ethanol content.

When our App displays "-.-%", that typically means the Bluetooth device is not properly connected, or that Bluetooth has been turned off. In the event of a failure, the app would actually resort to reading a flat "0.00%", and your vehicle would run best on 91.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Zach

It was in Custom Map A Result. Whew. Box is all good. Thanks again Zach!!

So i just finished reading through the whole thread. I was checking your guys website and quite confused. So how much would it cost me for the FFBT kit plus the tune for NA. (No ECUtek license or cable yet) And how much would it cost if i get a retune for a header. I also haven't seen dynos of a e85 NA Stock. On your site it just shows the 91 oct dyno. Thinking about gettng this when i get back from my deployment. I just want to research everything before hand. Thanks @DeliciousTuning!

I can't give quotes over the forum here, as it's against the rules. If you'd like, send me an email over to sales@delicioustuning.com.com. I'd be happy to give you a complete quote there!

PS - Apologies for the late response, we left on the 18th for the holidays and just returned.

Any update on the iPhone app yet?

FT86RGV 01-28-2016 02:35 AM

@sales@delicioustuning.com Just yesterday a similar thing happened to me. When connecting to the Bluetooth with the app. I get the following -.-%

I checked custom map p and it is working correctly. is there a way to fix the problem with the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I check the connections to the black box and everything seems fine. I actually do use the app a lot in the winter. Since the lowest temps we see are usually in the 40s I try to keep ethanol % between 70-75%. I'm usually able to start the motor at first crank that way. We consistently see 80% at the pumps here so I do have to monitor the app and add necessary amounts of 93 to keep that ideal percentage for max power and ability to cold start.

What's the minimum ethanol content before the advanced timing kicks in?

We start advancing timing at just over 10%, which is pump gas for most states.

Is it possible to get a custom tune where it stops advancing timing at a certain ethanol content? So E85 would produce the same whp as E40 if the timing stopped at E40?
